Terms and conditions for using YouTool.io
These Terms apply to the YouTool.io website, account services, and Chrome extension (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Austin Davenport, who operates the YouTool.io brand ("YouTool," "we," "us," or "our").
Important: By using our service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to comply with YouTube’s Terms of Service and our usage guidelines. Misuse of our tools may result in immediate termination of service.
The Service is intended for people aged 13 or older, or the higher minimum age required where they live. If you cannot legally agree to these Terms or authorize a payment yourself, a parent, guardian, or other authorized person must do so. Do not use another person’s account or payment method without permission.
YouTool.io provides analytics, productivity, and research tools for YouTube content creators. The website offers trial tool usage and one-time YouTool Pro purchases. Basic Chrome extension customization is free; designated tools and integrations require Pro. Services are provided as-is. YouTool.io does not currently run display advertising, bundle bloatware, or add watermarks to downloads or exports. Our service includes:
YouTool.io is independently developed and maintained. Support, updates, and new features are handled on a best-effort basis, and the service may evolve as YouTube, Google APIs, browser extension requirements, hosting providers, and available development time change.
YouTool Pro is one purchase associated with your YouTool account. There are no recurring charges or renewals. Sign in to that account to restore access on another device or in the extension.
The free allowance is one tool use per week without an account, or three per week after signing in, shared across eligible tools. Allowances refill every Monday at 00:00 UTC and unused uses do not carry over. We may change free allowances in the future. Failed actions do not consume a completed-use allowance. An anonymous allowance may be shared by people using the same network; signing in provides a separate account allowance. The FPS-to-ms converter and basic extension customization remain free. Pro is required for connected-channel features and designated integrations.
Stripe processes payments. Pro activates after a confirmed payment, which may take a short time after checkout. A checkout success screen alone does not grant access. A full refund or payment dispute revokes the related Pro access; contact support if a resolved dispute requires an access review.
The price displayed at checkout applies to your purchase. Founding Member status is granted only for a successful qualifying promotional purchase before the deadline stated at checkout. Account registration alone does not qualify. A founding-price checkout that completes after the promotional deadline is automatically refunded and does not grant Pro or Founding Member status; use the current offer to purchase again.
YouTool.io is independently operated. Features may change, and tools may be modified or removed. YouTube, Google, and other third-party platform or API changes can affect functionality. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed, and the service may change or discontinue. A one-time payment does not promise that the service or any specific feature will be available indefinitely.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Review the total shown in Stripe Checkout before paying; your bank may apply currency conversion or other charges. A Pro purchase covers access through the purchasing YouTool account. It does not buy ownership of YouTube data, transfer third-party intellectual property, or guarantee any particular creator earnings or results.
No discretionary refunds. YouTool Pro provides access to digital online tools. Purchases are final, and we do not offer discretionary refunds, including for a change of mind or unused access. Use the available free trial and review the features and service availability terms before purchasing. This policy does not affect refunds required by applicable law or the automatic refund for a founding-price checkout completed after the promotional deadline.
For a billing error, unauthorized charge, missing access, or a refund or other remedy required by law, use our Contact page with the purchasing account email and receipt or transaction reference. Do not send card numbers or passwords. Nothing in these Terms removes a refund, withdrawal, repair, or other consumer remedy required by applicable law. Immediate access does not by itself waive a statutory withdrawal right.
This one-time offer does not create or renew a subscription. It also does not automatically cancel an existing subscription or convert an old plan into Pro. Contact support about a previous plan before making another purchase if you are unsure of your access.
Our service uses YouTube's API and is bound by YouTube's Terms of Service. By using our service, you agree to:
When you connect a YouTube channel, you authorize YouTool.io to retrieve and store read-only channel/video metadata and YouTube Analytics reports for connected-channel features. YouTool.io may use connected-channel performance patterns internally to improve tools and develop aggregate benchmark or experiment features. These OAuth permissions do not allow YouTool.io to upload, edit, delete, or publish YouTube content on your behalf. Separately, extension features you choose to run inside YouTube Studio may assist with editing through the Studio interface, including bulk related-video or translation-thumbnail actions. Review your selections and changes before submitting them.
YouTool.io depends on third-party services including YouTube, Google OAuth, YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Chrome Web Store APIs, analytics providers, and browser functionality. Changes, outages, quota limits, policy updates, or data differences from those services may affect what YouTool.io can show or how a tool behaves.
Your privacy is important to us. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
If you submit feedback, bug reports, feature ideas, or workflow suggestions, you give YouTool.io permission to use, adapt, and build on that feedback without compensation or obligation. You keep ownership of your own original content.
We strive to maintain high service availability, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access:
The disclaimers and limits below apply only to the extent permitted by law. They do not exclude mandatory consumer guarantees or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or deliberate misconduct.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses you cause through unlawful use of the Service or infringement of another person’s rights. This does not require you to indemnify us for our own wrongdoing or waive mandatory consumer protections.
You may stop using the Service, sign out, disconnect your channel, and uninstall the extension at any time. Those actions do not automatically delete account or payment records. Use the Contact page to request account deletion or help with a payment issue under the refund policy above. Deleting access records may prevent purchase restoration; we will explain relevant consequences when handling your request.

Mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to you remain in effect. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive class-action rights, or select an exclusive court. Contact support first if you would like help resolving a dispute; this does not prevent you from using available legal remedies.
